So, i've reading a lot of topics about this DirectPlay Init Failure in the last few days.

I have Age II HD on steam (already installed compatibility patch 1.5), Windows 7 64bits, there's no "LEGACY COMPOMENTS" on "Turns Windows features on or off".

I've never had this DirectPlay problem with any game in my entire life of a "gamer", haha
Already checked all the registries on direct play directory.
Already did the clean reinstall of the game more than once.

I think I already did everything from every topic about this in the forum.

My last hope is the comment from Cavin, on attachment 1
When I tried to do the step "c." from the attachment 1 below, there's a message that appears after hitting enter (attachment 2).

translating to english, it says:

"the module "dplayx.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found.

Make sure that "dplayx.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and try again"


EDIT: By the way, this isn't the first time I installed voobly, I already played games on voobly about a year ago, I think, with the same notebook, same windows, same Age HD.

The only thing that changed is that i bought the new expansions on steam

I can't even enter a game room, when I try to host/join a game this message appears:

Voobly is unable to detect your game. It seems the compatibility patch was not correctly installed.

Please follow the steps mentioned here to perform a clean installation of the game:
