It's time !!

AoE Cup season 1 happened last year from may to July, link above :

It was a 1x1 tournament, most of the players were brazilians and the winner was Rednose.

From Season 1 we learned how to make Season 2 even more great.

Now in Season 2 we will run both, 1x1 and 2x2 Tournaments, individually.

Rules -

* All games must be played with rated on.
* First rounds will be Best of 3 games, semi final and final will be best of 5 games.
* GB Rule - In each round (not per game), the player / team can ask for 1 gb during the first 3 minutes.
* Dropping - Dropping will result in a lose, except if the team / player can prove (video/screenshot/match details) that was winning the game. If its proved, the game will be played again with same condition as before (eg: if it was a random match, the civs will be the same).
* Smurfing will not be aceptable as well as playing in someone else account may result in Voobly Ban.
* Players / Teams seed in bracket will be based in players level as well as players schedule time (eg: brazil x south korea will hardly match during first round)
* You can sign up for both or only one (1x1 or 2x2 tournament)
* Everyone can sign up but it doesnt guarantee your spot, player level as well as player historical and current behavior will by analysed. (eg: some folks are good but have bad sportsmanship or usually run away from big games)
* Macroing is NOT aceptable
* Match schedule must use GMT time as reference

2x2 - Extra Large
List of aceptable Home Maps -

1) RM Reveal 1.5 no rules, inland

2) IVS (Reveal or Not Reveal) 1.5, no rules
- Pick Civ - The team/player will pick the civs and the other team/player will pick the same civ (eg: if 1x1, player A pick Persian, player B will pick persian too, if 2x2 , let's say home team pick Shang and Hittite, other team has to pick Shang and Hittite as well.)
- Can pick Inland or Highland no river as map.

3) Usual 1.0

1st game - IVS reveal 1.5 - Mirror Random
2nd game - Loser of game 1 Home Map
3rd game - Winner of game 1Home Map

Semi-Final and Final Round (best of 5)

1st game - IVS reveal 1.5 - Mirror Random
2nd game - Loser of game 1 Home Map
3rd game - Winner of game 1 Home Map
4th game - Reveal 1.5 no rule
5th game - IVS no reveal - mirror random civ
